Local Programs

LOCAL PROGRAMS

In addition to executing the Fraternity’s national programs, the Kappa Lambda Chapter executes it’s own local programs to bring about a greater impact to the community that we directly serve. Whether it it a program developed by the chapter or in partnership with community organizations in Guilford County, Kappa Lambda is committed to service and love of all mankind.

Kappa Lambda Foundation Scholarship Fund

The Kappa Lambda Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization that was founded by college-educated men of color in Guilford County.  These men saw a need to address the declining number of ethnic minority students pursuing college degrees at four-year institutions of higher education.  These gentlemen understood that a lack of economic resources could deter minority students from pursuing their post-secondary aspirations.

March of Dimes March for Babies

March for Babies is our biggest weapon in the fight against premature birth, raising funds to help more moms have healthy, full-term babies as well as research to find why it occurs and prevention to keep it from happening. The Kappa Lambda Chapter is proud to be committed to such a noble cause, and has integral in raising funds in Guilford County.
